This spacious medieval kidney bag has been crafted from sturdy leather and is embellished with three Fleur-de-Lys shaped metal decorations.
Kidney bags are typical of the late medieval period between 1400-1500 AD and can be found not only in medieval paintings but also amongst historical finds of medieval belt bags.
In addition to the three Fleur-de-Lys decorations, the front of the replica kidney bag is dominated by a replica of the historic buckle (zinc), which catches the eye and securely closes the bag.
